WE ARE A CERTIFIED WOMEN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS!

We’re proud to announce that we’ve been awarded ‘Women-Owned Small Business’ (WOSB) certification by the US Small Business Administration (SBA).

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

The federal government has pledged to award at least 5% of all federal contracting dollars to women-owned small businesses via the WOSB Federal Contracting program, each year.

This means that the federal government will limit competition for certain federal contracts to WOSB certified businesses, like Ready to Launch Research, in 646 industries in which women-owned small businesses are substantially underrepresented.

This nationally recognized and celebrated program seeks to level the playing field for US women business owners by granting women-owned businesses with greater access to business opportunities across all 50 US states.

As a 100% women-owned market research agency, founded by our CEO, Jenny Karubian, we deliver data-driven actionable insights through incisive qualitative and quantitative market research solutions that have the potential to transform your business.

ABOUT THE WOSB FEDERAL CONTRACT PROGRAM

Recognizing the prevalence of gender disparity in US federal contracting, the SBA seeks to significantly counteract the barriers of entry faced by women business owners and entrepreneurs – including discriminatory federal contracting practices, less startup capital, more difficulty in securing loans through formal financial institutions, and less credit history – through its WOSB Federal Contract program.

According to the SBA’s Women-Owned Small Business NAICS Analysis report 2021, as of 2019, the federal government is the largest purchaser of goods and services in the US, accounting for purchases of over US$ 550 billion worth of goods and services.

By ensuring that the estimated 11.6 million women-owned firms in the US have greater access to a portion of these US federal contracts, the SBA paves the path for greater survival and growth of SBA certified women-owned small businesses across the nation.
